How politicians stand on Issues:
http://www.issues2000.org/default.htm

The people are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our Liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Politicians are like diapers, they both need changing often and for the same reason.
Mark Twain

“A nation of well informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the region of ignorance that tyranny begins.”
Benjamin Franklin

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
George Washington

The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests. Patrick Henry

Moral cowardice that keeps us from speaking our minds is as dangerous to this country as irresponsible talk. The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character.
-- Margaret Chase Smith

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances there is a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air - however slight - lest we become unwitting victims of darkness.
--Supreme Court Justice William Douglas

The most sensible and jealous people are so little attentive to government that there are no instances of resistance until repeated, multiplied oppressions have placed it beyond a doubt that their rulers have formed settled plans to deprive them of their liberties; not to oppress an individual or a few, but to break down the fences of a free constitution, and deprive the people at large of all share in the government, and all the checks by which it is limited.
--John Adams

Do not... regard the critics as questionable patriots. What were Washington and Jefferson and Adams but profound critics of the colonial status quo?
-- Adlai Stevenson

The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing- Albert Einstein

Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights. Thomas Jefferson

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. Abraham Lincoln

I have only one yardstick by which I test every major problem - and that yardstick is: Is it good for America? Dwight D. Eisenhower

Some men change their party for the sake of their principles; others their principles for the sake of their party. Winston Churchill

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing. Abraham Lincoln

He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money. Benjamin Franklin

I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.
-- Abraham Lincoln

The problem with Socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other peoples money.
Margaret Thatcher

What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure . . . than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. Theodore Roosevelt

"It is my living sentiment, and by the blessing of God,it shall be my dying sentiment, Independence now, and independence forever."
Daniel Webster, in an August 2, 1826 eulogy to Thomas Jefferson and John Adams;both had died on July 4th.

Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations. George Bernard Shaw

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

TARP bailout to fund Indian companies

This is still another example of how the TARP bailout was created to fund Indian companies that outsource jobs and throw Americans out of work.

Frightened yet?

New meaning for "Road Tax"

By Henry Lamb

Sara was late for work. The alarm clock didn't alarm, the kids were unusually slow getting ready for school, and nothing went right. She finally got to her car – a brand new 2020 Chevy Adventure. She touched the finger-print secured start button. Nothing. It wouldn't start. She touched it again. Nothing. Furious, she banged the steering wheel with her fist. Then she noticed the paper hanging from the receipt printer on the dash.

Rules for Radicals Tactics, hmmmmm who could be using these on us??????

Rules for Radicals

Tactics

"Tactics are those conscious deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them. ... Here our concern is with the tactic of taking; how the Have-Nots can take power away from the Haves." p.126

Always remember the first rule of power tactics (pps.127-134):

1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."

2. "Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the ex… Continue

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday -- and almost totally unnoticed by Americans -- European Union leaders named Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy as t… Continue

Actually, I'm finding Ron somewhat helpful. He has copied one of my posts, sandwiched between two of his rambling, incoherent responses. He keeps posting them whenever I comment on a thread. He actually make me look good and show himself for what he is, whatever that is. Its almost like have the "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval". (Am I dating myself?)

April, this was a great post. There seems to be an awakening of the American spirit which was confered upon this nation by our founding fathers. Their words ring true. Truth is witnessing to the core of our spirit and igniting a revolution to assult the voices of change.

Good work April
I noticed that you posted the FEMA camps video.
I listen to Gerald Celente and think that he has a view of economy right on track with events.
Glenn Beck did a report on FEMA camps and discredited most of what is posted on the Internet.
Since the FEMA camps even if true at the moment it falls on the category of theories and not facts, I think that it would better serve our cause if it is left out of the conversation. At least for now.

April, I feel sorry for Sarah Palin and the place she is now in--it must be tempting to join that bunch of political operatives in the NCFANA, but I agree, if she does, she is doomed. They will roller-coaster over her the same way as before. None of these guys are true conservatives, she is--and they will silence her in every way because she is a magnet for the left's derisive remarks.
